Night Watch

So, another book about the Discworld. Nothing much has changed, except a few details. Sam Vimes gets struck by lightening close to the Unseen University and travels back in time.

Lots of fun, the Monks of Time works much better here when their not the main focus of the story. It also turns out that Vimes himself was not who he thought he was. In fact, he has lots of objections about young Vimes and tries to set him straight.

This is, in other words, a really good Discworld-book. For obvious reasons, it's alos the first "proper" Discworld-book without a cover of Josh Kirby. Read.
