I’ve heard rumours about a Curve dvd, but when I rumage through their site I can’t find anything about it except in the message bin. From what I’ve put together it will be released in a limited edition as well (it will be mine) this spring with a compilation cd. I think. It’s very fuzzy around the edges. I hope there is a dvd somewhere.
Just to really prove that they’re not dead and buried, Curve has three new interviews up. One at Cosmik Debris, which is cool. Another at Apple, because they use their s/h-ware when doing the sounds — good design so head over there as well. Lastly, the Virginmega.com interview that is too short and they can’t spell simple words such as fuck. Read the first two.
I am poor and the cd Gift has been released today. Yes, it is by Curve and yes, I’m a fan. For those of you who by any chance don’t know of them at all — poor, sad, misguided people — well, you’re in luck. For a short while, they have a non-album track for download. It’s not a typical Curve-song but anyway you should run, don’t walk, there with your browser and download. Listen. Enjoy. Embrace the music.
I need the new Curve record. I crave, in the most horrible way, that record. Sure, it’s not The Gift but that’s because of that evil record company. But, being fabulous and extremely competent, they made a new one — self released, or will be soon. It might sound as if I’m whining, but I don’t. Everyone that has heard them knows, or should know, what I talk about. That record has to be mine, or else the world will pay. Perhaps not the whole world, but at least a small bit of it. Okey, one of the small, halfdead trees outside my window is going to get a kick in the, well, whatever weak spots the trees have. But I will kick it, just to be mean and evil.
