Joss

Allegedly (since I don't remember where I read it and have no link I can't very much claim this as a fact, can I?), Joss Whedon has recorded two commentary tracks to "Once More With Feeling." See my arm? Goosebumps.

grep

Sore Eyes as usual digs up interesting things: The First Church Of Digital Grepping. DMCA turns into religious censorship. I don't think it will work in real life though.

schott

Yes kids, Schott's Original Miscellany is just as good as it sounds. Who wouldn't want to find out all there is about the hat tax in 1784--1811? Or what fish is used in various forms of Sushi? Not only that, it looks good too with a piece of cloth as a bookmark.

Band of Brothers

Saw the first episode of Band of Brothers. Well, not all of it. I kept hearing an echo of Ron Livingstone's part from Office Space through his whole performance. It looked good, good acting, and I got got very bored. Not even Simon Pegg managed to save it.

Leaving

Yes! I'm leaving this place. Sometime after Christmas, as I don't have the exact date the course starts. Now all I need is an appartment or a room.

cthulhu 2

Néa posted this thing on MCiOS about Lovecraft-answer to a Nigeria letter. I managed to forget all about it until it appeared at the new Swedish fanac mailinglist.

cthulhu

Another one from Sore Eyes: the Misadventures of Hello Cthulhu. Dear God, what sort of sick brain comes up with ideas such as this?
