Okej, Jun Ichikawa var först med en annan historia, men den här är på engelska, så den kommer vara möjlig att faktiskt hitta utom på obskyra importutgåvor utan text. But these are getting beyond my scope. What I’m interested in here is strange fiction, that fiction of elsewhens. Because with this theoretical basis, I want to look at a type of fiction which a lot of people don’t even agree exists, but which is constantly labelled and relabelled by writers and critics who have at least a vague sense that there is something to point to, even if they can only point in the general direction.
